On the edge where shadows do meet the light,

Mesmerised as their dawn so releases,

Such a dazzling prism into our sight,

Trembling as silence shatters to pieces.

And the luminous threads so born do weave,

Most delicately through outstretched fingers,

Ablaze and blinding what the eyes perceive,

So dazzled, only their aura lingers.

Warmth radiates through veins of deepest blue,

Calming the tempest’s wild breath on the neck,

Though blind instinct knows it all to be true,

Restoration from the light’s sun-blessed peck.

And ne’er was a religious being,

Though doubts now seep and sear from eye’s corner,

With extremities the way of seeing,

I confess I touched on heaven’s border.
